One year later

Its official! I have been blogging for one year on this very day. St. Patty's day is my lucky day! I'm wearing green, are you? It all started with this lame post about why I call my blog "The Manager." I must say that I've had the time of my life blogging and getting to know the blogger world. I've even made some friends that I've never met in my life (but hope to soon). I'm officially a person who meets friends off the internet -- yes I'm lame, I make fun of people who do that, I have become one of "those" people. But at the same time I see blogging as different. I'm letting an entire world into your life that would never have known I existed. This past year I have received support, guidance, humor and hours of entertainment while bored at work. So to all my blogger friends I would like to say thank you. I really do feel like you are my friends and I can't wait to meet you in person some day. To all the Portland people -- BSC and I will see you at the next Sooner/Oregon game. Go Sooners!

I even got an anniversary present this afternoon. While typing this very post, I looked out the window of my office to see a gentleman standing against the wall. I was a bit curious as to why this man was standing in my view because my window looks out to our private parking lot, not very easily accessible to the public. As I got a closer look I realized what he was doing. He was PEEING on the wall of my building. Might I add that he chose the wall that was closest to my car!?! My poor car was probably splashed on. Tonight I shall spend the night washing my car wearing full protective gear. The peeing man was not homeless, did not look like a druggie or person of that stature. He was well dressed, with hair groomed and face clean-shaven. He even wore glasses. Why oh why are men so disgusting? As I woman, I never feel the need to pee in public. And if the urge comes to that point, I will find a McDonald's or even the nearest gas station to relieve myself. But I guess if you gotta go, you gotta go.
