Questions

The following are questions for those of you who requested to be interviewed by me. I will still interview one more person, if there are others out there who would like to answer some questions!

Gayle:
1. If you had the chance to have lunch with one of your favorite authors, who would you choose and what would you want to talk about?
2. Would you rather live with my old roommate (the one before you) or give up Monte and Daphne? Why?
3. Tell me something that I don't already know about you.
4. Given the chance to visit any country in the world, where would you go and what would you do there?
5. If there was one thing in your life you could re-do, what would it be and why?

Mollie:
1. As a fello mayo-phobic friend, I understand that this question might be frightening. Would you rather swim in a pool of mayo, or have to eat a jar of mayo?
2. Going back to our Kai-O days at ACU ... tell me your best memory of club.
3. Situation: You are married and your husband puts you on "shopping probation" because last time you went shopping, you went way overboard (this is the current situation I'm in now ... oh the horror!). So, what do you do with your time and money now that shopping is out of the question?
4. Being the strong woman you are, how do you view women's roles in society, church, politics, etc.?
5. If you could put anything in the world into a package and send it to anyone, what would you package up and who would you send it to?

Nici:
1. Describe your life now if you would have stayed with John (eeewww).
2. Who would you consider to be your idol? Why?
3. If you were cast into "Friends" for one episode, what character would you be and what would the episode be about?
4. How do you envision Ciara when she is your age?
5. What is your favorite memory growing up as my big sister?

Kara:
1. Alan or the pugs? One has to go, which one is it?
2. Tell us the story of when you decided that you wanted to marry Alan.
3. As a reporter, what would be your favorite story to cover and where would it be?
4. If you could rule your own country, tell us how it would be done and what the country would be like.
5. What would you do if one day your future child came to you and confessed that he/she had decided that they were not Christian and did not believe in God?

Ok Lori, I don't see where I can ask you to interview me, so I'm just asking right here!

1. Alan or the pugs? One has to go, which one is it?
Let's see. My puggies are spoiled rotten. I spoil Alan rotten. My puggies never do what I tell them to. Alan never does what I tell him to. The puggies are cute and cuddly. Alan...hmmm. Puggies are lazy. Alan is being lazy right now, but he's going to be working hard in a couple months. So it's a tie. I guess I did kinda vow to stay with Alan "until death do us part." I knew that would come back to bite me!

2. Tell us the story of when you decided that you wanted to marry Alan.
Alan says he has to grow on people like fungus. ; ) I don't remember an actual time when I went from liking him to loving him. I do remember one night either right before or right after I graduated high school: we were laying in the back yard of my house looking at the stars. I asked him what we were going to do when I went to college. He asked if I wanted to break up and I said no. I asked him the same thing, and he said no. More importantly, at some point I began praying for him and for our future together.

3. As a reporter, what would be your favorite story to cover and where would it be?
I'd love to investigate, do months and months of research, stake outs, whatever, and eventually solve some kind of mystery. It should be somewhere with a lot of history.

4. If you could rule your own country, tell us how it would be done and what the country would be like.
Easy. I'd appoint Rush Limbaugh president, Sean Hannity vice president and Ann Coulter secretary of state. Then I'd pick the best beach in my country and work on my tan.

5. What would you do if one day your future child came to you and confessed that he/she had decided that they were not Christian and did not believe in God?
I'd be devastated. I think I'd just have to treat them as much like normal as I could and pray like crazy.

Hi Lori,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I know it's weird to love such ugly feet so much, but when you live in Utah, you tend to drink more than average folk!

Cherese: Of course I remember you! How's it going?

Nytro: I really enjoyed your blog. You made me laugh out loud. Yes, while living in Utah I have had more to drink than is necessary! Totally agree with you.

1. If you had the chance to have lunch with one of your favorite authors, who would you choose and what would you want to talk about?

I just finished reading a book by Nancy and Edwin Cole called “The Uniqe Woman.” It is absolutely amazing, and I think every woman AND man in the world should read it.

That being said, I would ask them what difficult or different situations they had to go through that stand out in their minds as things God used to bring them the wisdom they shared on the pages of their book. Hard or uneasy times bring about change – some people accept and learn, others do not. I want to know how they learned, what their thought processes were. Everyone has defining moments.

2. Would you rather live with my old roommate (the one before you) or give up Monte and Daphne? Why?

I would never give up my dogs. Period. Plus, my dogs poop, so I could use it as a weapon against her nastiness.

3. Tell me something that I don't already know about you.

I am VERY particular about my coffee: in a 16 oz. mug, put 1 T. creamer, 1/3 cup soy milk, 1 t. cocoa powder, 4 packets of Sweet ‘n’ Low, 4 large ice cubes, and the rest coffee. I have been drinking it that way for 6 months. I actually measure it each day. I like how it tastes and look forward to it each morning. Why vary it when I know what’s good to me?

4. Given the chance to visit any country in the world, where would you go and what would you do there?

I have always wanted to go to Greece, and after seeing the Traveling Pants movie where one of the friends is in Greece and seeing how breathtakingly beautiful it is, I want to go there even more. Plus, Greek food is INCREDIBLE.

5. If there was one thing in your life you could re-do, what would it be and why?

I would never have dated a certain somone. Sure, I learned from it, but it messed me up for a long time.
