Wow, he'll be three weeks old on Wednesday

I can't believe it's almost been three weeks. Our little man is growing up right before our eyes. He's gaining weight like crazy. Usually the doctors like newborns to be back up to their birthweight by their two-week appointment after loosing weight in the hospital. Nathan was 7lbs 10 oz when he was born and was 7 lbs 4 oz when we left the hospital. Totally normal. So I was expecting him to be around 8 lbs at his appointment last week. Well, my little piggie weighs NINE POUNDS! Yes, he eats twice or three times as much as the average newborn does. He's always hungry. Thank-you the the inventor of the breast-pump and pacifier. I would not be able to survive without you!


This is the picture being sent in our Christmas cards. Yes, I'm still sending out cards, they're going out today. It may be a little bit late, but at least I'm doing them! I haven't had much time with only two weeks of maternity leave. Yes, that's right. Two weeks.

BATH TIME

Bath time is always an adventure. You never know what he'll do. Sometimes he enjoys it and pees all over us. Other times he just screams the entire time sending the cats running to all corners of the house.

He hates being cold. And right now he's cold and saying bad words to his mom and dad. Dad's the one who taught them those words.

He's always so pleasant after a good bath in his warm pj's. Right after this picture was taken he spewed all over me. Fun times!
