People Suck

Here's a little story about my weekend:

I had the day off on Monday (yay for me!), so I decided to go spend a little bit of Christmas money and go shopping. As I expected, the mall was INSANE! I knew finding a parking spot would be hard, I didn't even attempt to look in the spaces close to the mall. Just as I rounded the corner, I saw reverse lights come on from a car in a parking spot. Lucky for me! So, I put on my signal and waited for the car to pull out of the spot. Just as I was about to pull into the space, a car came zooming down the wrong way and pulled into my space!

I was dumbfounded.

What kind of rude, inconsiderate people would do this? Teenage girls, that's who. So, I honked and gave them a dirty look as I drove past them. I decided not to waste my breath by getting out of the car and giving them a piece of my mind. Instead, I drove on and looked for another space. As my luck would have it, another car at the very front space was pulling out right as I approached. Karma does work in my favor .... sometimes. I pulled into the space and saw the girls walking toward my car. As they walked passed I saw them flip me off and yell some obscenities at me.

So let me get this straight: You act like a moron, you steal my parking space, you are the rude one, and yet you think that I deserve to be yelled at and flipped off? I'm a bit confused here.

I tried to let it go. But I just kept thinking about how angry they were with me. And why? What did I do to them? I was so worried that I would come back out to my car to find that it had been keyed or "BITCH" spray-painted across the side. I only stayed in the mall for 30 minutes and then left. Can you believe that? Can you believe I let something so stupid interrupt my shopping extravaganza? Can you believe that someone would be so outwardly rude to another person? What is this world coming to?
