It always seems that something interesting is bound to happen on my lunchbreak.
Overheard while in line at Subway:
Customer: Excuse me miss, can I have a napkin?
Subway Slave: Sure (she hands him some napkins)
Customer: Uhh, miss? I only asked for ONE napkin, you gave me four.
Subway Slave: Oh, sorry, that was my fault (as she attempts to take back the extra three offensive napkins).
Customer: Don't apologize, just get it right next time.
Subway Slave: Sorry sir, that was my fault.
Some people should not be allowed out in public.

People are so rude! I feel sorry for the subway slave. He should have said "sorry you looked like you'd need 4" or something mean... Mean people SUCK!
Cody - that's the beauty of this post. I didn't know who to be mad at. That's for you to decide and debate.
Subway Slaves might be rightfully jittery, after being treated like that all day!
Just me, did you catch Cody's message? Just wondering...
poor subway slave, did he seriously say "get it right next time?" Knowing me, I'd have jumped in and said some smart ass remark...glad it was you and not me.
PUNCH!
what a jerk. how can people think that they can treat other people that way? if the slave had stood up for himself it would have gotten him fired and the jerk would have gotten a few free meals out of it i'm guessing. at least at starbucks, i know that their policy is just say yes. so if the customer bitches enough they can get whatever they want . . . at least starbucks employees get healthcare . . .
