Let me update you all on a few things happening in my head:
Brandon and I found a house, THE house. It's practically perfect in every way. The price was a bit a high, but that could easily be negotiated ... or can it? We happened to find this house in the paper on Sunday listed in the open house section. I was bored, so we decided to go see a few of the houses I thought might be interesting. Out of the three addresses we wrote down, it was the first one we visted. First off, the people were actually clean and didn't have dirty underwear and such laying out for all to see. Second, the house felt open, unlike some of the mazes I've seen on my outings. Third, the lot was HUGE (1/3 of an acre to be exact). The other two houses we drove by were so horrid, even Brandon didn't want to go inside. We drove right on past them. How do people live like they do? One house actually looked like they had let their kids paint the ouside. Pastel yellow house with neon blue trim and maroon door DO NOT look good.
So, yesterday, just a day later we went and saw the house again. This time with my entire posse in tow (Mom, Dad, aunt, sister and niece) to give me any feedback they may have. They all liked it and thought it was great. Too bad for us that another couple had visited just an hour earlier and put in an offer ... FOR THE FULL ASKING PRICE. What a bunch of idiots. They could have easily asked for 3% off since niether were working with a realtor. So, hopefully this other couple is stupid and the deal will fall through. We gave the home-owners our number and if they call us in a couple of weeks then we can have the chance to put in an offer. I'll keep you posted.
Other stuff:
The girl I work with is really starting to piss me off. She orders me around like I'm her little assistant. LIKE HELL I AM! If anything, I'm above her! For example: She often needs to pull up old reciepts for items purchased by customers. She always had to ask me to do it because I'm the one with the program on my computer. I would hear constant complaints that if only she had the programs on her computer that she could look it up herself ... fine with me! I put the freaking program on her computer. What does she do now? SHE STILL ASKS ME TO PULL UP RECEIPTS. I think I would be more willing to help her do things if she would just ask me like I'm a human being instead of ordering me around like I'm her slave. I think I might slap her around a bit and show her who's boss. I think I could take her.

Looking for a house is the worst! When we were looking I just kept wondering how people lived the way they did!!! There are a lot of SLOBS out there. There are also a lot of idiots out there that think their middle name is Handy (as in Handy Smurf). Unfortunately, these people end up mucking up their projects and screwing up a perfectly good house!
cat fight. sweet.
(I feel that way when my 4 yr. old tries to boss ME around! And I KNOW I could take her...)
btw, looking for houses totally sucks. just keep looking; and don't settle! (or you'll be disappointed later!)
Good luck with the house search. I don't have any experience with that - apartment hunting is terrible, and that is not as long of a commitment - nor as expensive!
Good luck with the house hunting, we found the perfect house when we first started looking and was so lucky they were so clean. They even upgraded everything so we lucked out.
I thnink you can take her too.
Nytro - I've seen a lot of "do-it-yourself home projects." The majority of which look like crap. I just don't understand some people.
Little Miss - My your 4 yr old is probably more mature than my co-worker.
Gayle - House hunting is exciting, but at the same time so exhausting and disappointing. Apartment hunting was way easier for us.
Cody - I need Jeannie to teach me some of her kung fu majic.
Just Me - I'm so jealous! I hope we'll be able to find something so great soon.
Crap, now I look stupid. I know how magic is spelled. Sorry for the error.
aww...i hope the deal falls through for the stupid people. they don't deserve it!
i wish MY house was on a third of an acre...so does kody.
stand up and tell that girl to get her OWN info...she said if she had the program....
I have seen this girl, and she is a twig, you could easily break her in half!
