I have one hour until I can go home for the day. The amount of time in the normal world is not a very large amount of time. One hour to spend with my niece (see pic below) is like one minute; one hour to relax goes by in a flash; one hour to go shopping or to clean (two of my favorite things to do) is never enough time; a one-hour lunch break always seems to escape too fast. But, the one hour in the day before it's time to leave is never-ending. It's not enough time to start on another project for the day, and it's too much time to skip out early. Everyone else in the world gets off at 5:00pm, so I can't call any of the vendors I need. So, I'm bored. I've e-mailed a bunch of people back, read some pretty interesting blogs and now I'm writing on my own. I've already visited a bunch of online stores and looked at all the sale stuff ... there's nothing good right now. I've browsed my "regulars" on ebay (I usually do searches for the same stuff like my china, crystal, movies I want and Sid Dickens plaques). I've even gone so far as to Google some names of my friends (that's kinda fun when you acutally find stuff on them). So, my question to all two people who actually read my blog is ... what do I do now?
For those of you who enjoy American Idol, you must read Brandon's blog entry on it. I found it insulting and very entertaining at the same time ... that's some funny stuff!

man, this whole blogging world is strange... you never know who you are going to run into. sorry, i don't have any advice on how to pass that last hour of work, and really, i can't relate, seeing as how it seems my lot in life to be a professional student. but i hope you find some creative, productive way to make it through those late afternoon hours. tell your husband hi for me. and as for his blog being insulting and entertaining (i haven't read it yet) - but isn't that just how brandon is? i loved living with that guy for a year!
Amen to that. You can't start a project with only an hour left. However, if you are anything like me, you feel guilty for not having anything to do...

Lori! It's my last hour at work, too! That's how I found your blog. Just looking around, trying to make it 'til 5:00. Now I might even stay late just so I can finish reading.
And I forgot to leave my name. Above post is from Holly McCloud.
