Throughout the time BSC and I have lived in Utah, we have made some amazing friends. Friends who are more like family than anything. These are the type of friends with whom we are comfortable enough talking about the most taboo of subjects without feeling judged. With these friends we can merely sit around a fire in the backyard without feeling like we have to keep the conversation going. They feel comfortable enough walking into our house without knocking, and we feel comfortable enough letting them do so. We expected our first children together, and have seen our children play together. We have stayed up talking until 3:00 in the morning, without even realizing how much time has passed. We have laughed so hard we cried and also cried for each others sorrows. We have shared countless dinners and drinks, and they still stuck with us knowing they would always receive bad service if I was around.
We know that most of these friends will eventually leave Utah for one reason or another. So far, two couples have left, and in the next couple of months, two more will leave. Eight amazing people who have touched our lives and given us unfailing friendship have moved on to the next step in their lives.
Cody, Jeannie, Karen and Cameron ... we miss you! Brandi, Ab, Jackie and Stefan ... don't leave us (but really, we're happy for you). And for the friends who are still here, we couldn't make it without you. You never know, maybe we're next.

Yeah, why are you all chasing everyone out of Utah?? Are you all next? Rocky and I just got back, you had better not be leaving.
ahem. if you are next, i humbly offerportland as your next destination.
friends schmends...i want a post about Mercedes and her coach collection.
It's always so sad to see friends go.
sounds like you're the common denominator here... ;)
WE MADE THE LIST! WOOHOO!!!
So, are you really coming to visit Denver? We are here almost every day. Dinner, drinks and fun await!
We'll miss you like crazy too!!!! We would have never made it in this state without you two and all of the wonderful people you have introduced us to.
We love you and don't you worry.. i'm doing everything I can to get you two to Tulsa :) :)
I will not rest... nay, I will not eat until your son is in a place where sanity is not a fine commodity but rather a way of life. He will grow up in a land where college football is more than a grown up version of pop-warner, and where his father can drink without paying a "membership" fee. I am on hunger strike until I know that he will grow up in Tulsa.
... who am I kidding? I have to eat. I'm a fat ass. OK, I'll eat, but I will be in a really bad mood until you guys get to Tulsa.
I think we are in town and available the July 4th weekend. Let me know if you are coming and we will clear our schedule. YEAH!
