You want to know what's really fun? Watching people when they don't know they're being watched. Yes, that sounds a bit sick on my part, but let me explain. At my place of employment we have a camera set up so we can see when a person walks into the building. I'm not usually the one who greets them, but I do check in on the camera on my computer every once in a while to see who has just walked into the building. Sometimes it takes a while for them to be greeted and it's quite comical to see what they do when they think nobody's watching. The camera is in plain sight if they would just look around a bit, but most people assume that nobody knows what they're doing. Things I've seen lately:

1. Nose pickers - lots of them
2. Candy thieves - we have a bowl of candy in the front, people will fill their pockets when they assume nobody will know
3. Wedgie picking
4. Cleavage adjusting
5. Scratching in places
6. Kids getting spanked
7. Dancing - really, really bad dancing
8. Snooping through stuff in the "employees only" section
9. One couple had a pretty intense kiss, leading into a makeout session ... it probably would have gone much further had they not been interrupted.
10. People helping themselves to the phone, probably all long distance phone calls.

It's odd the things people will do in public, when they think they're not in public. I really wish I could give you all the link so you could watch too, but I'm afraid that's a big no-no. But it's quite fascinating, really. People are such odd creatures. I wonder what I've done when I think nobody's watching.

I, too, am a people-watcher. I often get distracted when I am out with friends, because I want to see what other people are doing!

My favorite place to watch people: the airport!

We're all on camera so much more than we ever realize. I'm sure I've never done any of the things you listed!

I often think I'm on a hidden camera somewhere, so I always have that in the front of my mind...

now I know YOU'RE of those people watching...

; )

i have become so OVER paranoid about the whole "hidden camera" thing that i honestly assume i'm being filmed basically ALL of the time...in my car, in the shower...everywhere. and sometimes that paranoia leads to good behavior, and sometimes it leads to me starring in my own sitcom.

lets just say that i'm one of the ones who has danced while waiting...

I freaking love doing that. I used to have a web cam in my apartment so I could watch Nathan while I was working really far away. I would flip out when the maintenance men would come in and sit on my furniture and stuff.. but we would gather around my computer and watch it like it was the greatest movie ever.

But the one time they freaked me out I called and yelled in my answering machine, which pretty much ruined that forever.. so you've got a great setup!

OMG, that is so funny! I am also appreciative of the reminder, NOT that I would ever do any of those things.

I was just SCRATCHING my nose!
